This policy explains how Vacapetions handles your information when you browse the site, create an account or list a business.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and password when you create an account.
- Listing information: business name, category, address, phone, email, website, hours, descriptions and photos you submit (up to 5 photos per listing).
- Billing information: your billing name, email and address. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored on our servers.
- Usage information: pages visited and basic device and browser details used to keep the site working and secure.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and your listings.
- To process payments, plan changes and cancellations.
- To review and moderate submissions so listings stay accurate and trustworthy.
- To contact you about your account, listing status and support requests.
- To improve and secure Vacapetions.
3. What is public and who we share with
- Approved listings are public. This includes business name, category, location, contact details, description and photos you choose to publish.
- We share payment information with Stripe to process payments, and we use Supabase to store account and listing data.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the site.
4. Photos you upload
- You confirm you own or have permission to use every photo you upload. Each listing can include a maximum of 5 photos. Photos are publicly visible once your listing is live. You can replace or remove photos at any time from My listings.
5. Retention and deletion
- We keep account and listing data while your account is active. When you delete a listing, the listing and its photos are removed. Billing records may be kept as required for accounting and legal purposes.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can edit or delete your listings and update your details from My listings. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.
7. Security
- We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children
- Vacapetions is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
- We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
